Yes, we make the legs to order. We allow changes in height, width and, if necessary, the size of the profile used. Simply email us with your desired dimensions and we will send you a price and production date.

Yes, we can paint the legs in the entire RAL range. We do not do NCS colours. If you require an atypical paint job, please email us to confirm availability and final price.

First you need to choose how tall you want your table to be.

From experience, we can say that 95% people are comfortable with a standard height of 75cm. For really tall people (195cm+) it is a good idea to consider a height of 76cm. We make higher tables absolutely exceptionally and always after a thorough consultation.

Once you have the height of the table, just subtract the thickness of the board and you will get the required leg height.

We recommend choosing a leg width 5cm narrower than the width of the board, we think it looks best. 

Example: for a 90cm wide countertop, an 85cm wide leg is the ideal choice. 

You can use either classic screws or better so called clamping nuts (see below), which create a solid metal thread in the plate, to which you then screw the leg with classic metric screws. This connection is much stronger than conventional screws and can be disassembled and reassembled at any time without damage to the board.  

Locknuts:

In theory, you can use the leg on any material, but in practice we recommend using it only on dimensionally stable, lightweight laminated chipboard, MDF or plywood. 

It's possible, but at your own risk. 

This is definitely a hot topic in furniture making and as many people as there are opinions. In our country, we've been pushing the version that only the table base belongs under the solid woodthat holds the board in place across the entire surface and not just at the edges.

Reason: solid wood is a living material and even if it is dried, it still tends to work over time (react to changes in humidity, temperature) and thus bend and twist slightly. The legs themselves are never able to completely prevent this, as they don't hold the board in its entirety, and because of this, using them is at your own risk - if the board warps, you'll have a crooked table and there's nothing you can do about it. 

It's definitely not one thing. Metal legs are more suitable for shorter and less loaded tables up to 160-180cm long.

Reason: from about 180cm long, even thicker 4cm boards start to sag slightly under their own weight and from this length onwards it is better to look straight for a table base to support the board. 

This is very much a question of taste and the expected load on the table.

In terms of design, the legs made of steel profiles (Vito, Zuno) are definitely nicer, but their main disadvantage is the smaller contact area between the plate and the leg.

If you want the leg to hold really well = to be resistant to possible breaking to the side, if someone accidentally trips on the table or takes the leg awkwardly during moving, take the version with sheet metal (Vaka, Zandi), which has a much larger contact area with the board and holds much better. 

If you don't like this compromise and would like both (both a nice look and a festive addition) look straight at table bases. 

Definitely not. The legs are lined underneath with durable felt made of real sheep wool. This allows you to shuffle the table freely and keeps the floors as good as new.

For routine maintenance, just wipe the image with a duster. Occasionally you can use a common all-purpose cleaner (CLIN, IRON). Please never use technical gasoline, alcohol, savo, or other solvents that will etch and irreversibly damage the powder coat. 

Once you order, you don't have to worry about anything. We will carefully pack the legs after production and ship them to you. We will call you in advance to arrange a shipment date before shipment.

By bank transfer. Once your order is completed, we will send you an invoice for the full amount and after payment we will put your order into production.

The actual production time is always indicated down on the order.
